acceptable but the bed wasn't good

i selected it as better value than the harbour hotels. It was a ten minute walk to the mtr.
the bed was awful it was very hard. it was noisy other guests made a huge amount of noise. i heard slamming doors i heard arguing and partying.

top tierpool closure
the room was always clean and room service is top tier. that met my minimum expectations.
honestly, the pool was closed for 'end of the year' maintenance. THE hotel did not inform me before my arrival. we were so looking forward to use the pool DAILY so it was disappointing.

the cleaning service was excellent and people were very helpful the hotel is near a mtr station and a huge shopping centre
i stayed at this hotel before and did not have wifi issues until this trip the wifi kept disconnecting multiple times and was unstable i was staying in a superior double or twin room so they should check the wifi the issues made it difficult to complete work tasks

Acceptable , but Some Issues Detracted From the Stay
strange smellfirm pillows
The bathroom had a strange smell , it was quite noticeable. Also , the pillows were too firm for my liking , and I found it difficult to get comfortable. These issues detracted from an otherwise satisfactory stay. The breakfast was also not very good , it was too focused on salty and asian food for a european.

the cleaning lady always asked if we want room cleaned. she ensured we had enough supplies too. i also appreciated the water bottle filling stations on each floor. kettler and hairdryer provided proved very useful throughout my stay.
the woman staff were sometimes a little rude. this happens especially when you don't speak cantonese.

I found the hotel staff responsive regarding my requests. The room was clean and the condition was good. I found the MTR station within walking distance from this hotel.
The hotel did not provide complimentary water in the rooms. Guests had to purchase water or use the water dispenser on each floor. This was an inconvenience.
